<p>If you are are currently using shure 58&#8217;s you owe it to yourself to check out mics that are in the same pricerange but are much better suited to live performance and sound better.</p>
<p>A list of mics that sound and perform better to check out would be:</p>
<ul>
<li>audix om5, om6, om7</li>
<li>Sennhieser 945e &amp; 935</li>
<li>Electro voice ND 967</li>
</ul>
<p>There are a bunch of other mics that probably sound better too, but those are the ones I&#8217;ve tried myself.  Simply put the shure 58&#8217;s are old news.</p>
